Incidentally...

When I was ripping out the neck of That Sweater last night, I discovered the yarn had already begun to felt slightly, just from the motion of me moving it around. That means it's ideal for any kind of steeking. Jamieson & Smith's jumper-weight two-ply (about the same in weight) is four cents per yard, while Jagerspun two-ply (what I'm using) is two cents per yard for the small cone, and one cent per yard for the large cone. Plus the Jagerspun is 100% merino and the Jamieson & Smith is Hebridian mystery sheep. Something to keep in mind the next time you're knitting a Fair Isle on a budget. I know you guys do that all the time. Heh heh heh.
