Mom is another word for sucker.

IMG01223-20120121-1932
This is "Purple", the unicorn Pillow Pet. At Christmas, my kid informed me that Purple needed a mini Pillow Pet of her own. With everything going on, I didn't order it right away, but look at that. Like an idiot, I got my kid's Pillow Pet its own Pillow Pet. The Goob's calling it "Baby Purple". I'm calling it "Purpette".

Call me an idiot.

Welcome to the club. Sometimes a request is so damned stupid that it makes perfect sense. Cute tho.

Aunties are suckers too. Just sayin'. How can we resist?

Grandmas are the biggest suckers of all! But the joy makes it totally worth it.

My hubby thinks I'm a sucker too. My 11 year old son moved into his older sister's now empty room. So he got new sheets and a duvet. I gotta admit though buying for boys is a whole lot easier than buying for girls. Getting a duvet and sheets for the girls would have taken hours ("do I want this or that, no this one is better. no this one but I like the pink but if they only had it in purple, look polka dots . . . why do they call it "polka" dots . . ." With him it was "I want green."

nah, i call you a properly indulgent parent. you'll draw the line where it needs to be drawn, but be a sucker when that's a good thing. even though not all of their wishes will be granted, kids need to know that the big people listen to them.
